Terms of Service

Effective 1 September 2026

Article 1 (Purpose)

These Terms govern the conditions and procedures for using the Teuknote service (the “Service”) provided by yaholab Inc. (the “Company”), and set out the rights, obligations and responsibilities of the Company and the user.

Article 2 (Definitions)

  1. Service means the provision of information on Korean overseas-resident special admissions, the calculation of applicant eligibility, and document management features.
  2. User means a person who agrees to these Terms and uses the Service.
  3. Paid Service means features available on payment of the fees set by the Company.

Article 3 (Effect and amendment)

  1. These Terms take effect when posted within the Service.
  2. The Company may amend these Terms within the limits of applicable law. Amendments are announced at least 7 days before they take effect, and at least 30 days in advance where the change is unfavourable to users.
  3. A user who does not accept an amendment may stop using the Service and terminate their agreement.

Article 4 (Formation of the agreement)

  1. The agreement is formed when a person applies to use the Service, agrees to these Terms, and the Company accepts.
  2. The Company may refuse or later terminate an application where false information has been given, or where use would interfere with the operation of the Service.

Article 5 (Content of the Service)

  1. Free. Admissions guidelines for participating universities, an eligibility check, topic guides and the blog.
  2. Paid. Eligibility calculated per university, residency analysis, document tracking and storage, deadline scheduling, and university-specific submission packs.
  3. Information provided by the Service is reference material based on admissions guidelines published by the Korean Council for University Education and by each university.
  4. Final assessment of an applicant’s eligibility rests with the admissions committee of each university. Users must confirm with the university’s admissions office.

Article 7 (User obligations)

  1. Users must not enter false information or use another person’s information.
  2. Users must not copy, distribute or use for commercial purposes any information obtained through the Service without the Company’s consent.
  3. Users must not interfere with the operation of the Service by any technical means.

Article 8 (Paid Service and payment)

  1. Fees and billing cycles are as shown on the pricing page.
  2. Payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd acting as merchant of record. The card statement shows Paddle rather than the Company name.
  3. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled.
  4. Refunds follow the separately published Refund Policy.

Article 9 (Suspension of the Service)

  1. The Company may suspend the Service for maintenance, replacement or failure of equipment, or for other operational reasons, with prior notice where practicable.
  2. Where prior notice is not possible due to circumstances beyond the Company’s control, notice is given afterwards.

Article 10 (Retention and return of data)

  1. School history, travel records and uploaded documents are stored in the user’s account and are accessible only to that user.
  2. Users may download their stored data at any time.
  3. On deletion of an account, stored data is destroyed without delay, except where retention is required by law.

Article 11 (Intellectual property)

  1. Copyright and other rights in the Service and in material created by the Company belong to the Company.
  2. Rights in material uploaded by a user belong to that user.

Article 12 (Limitation of liability)

  1. The Company is not liable for failure to provide the Service due to force majeure or equivalent circumstances.
  2. The Company is not liable for loss arising from a user’s own fault, including entry of incorrect information.
  3. Because eligibility is finally assessed by each university, the Company does not guarantee any admission outcome.

Article 13 (Governing law and jurisdiction)

  1. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.
  2. Disputes arising between the Company and a user are subject to the court having jurisdiction under the Korean Civil Procedure Act.
