Eligibility, calculated per university

The national council set the bar at three quarters of the year abroad, but never defined how to count the days. So every university counts differently.

  • Konkuk counts both departure and arrival days; Korea and Sungkyunkwan count only departure; Hanyang only arrival. We run each of your target universities separately
  • Finds every run of three consecutive grades that includes at least one high-school year
  • Student 3/4, parent 2/3, and the parent’s 1,095 working days on one screen
  • Counts all 23 terms, starting from elementary school
  • Judges both tracks at once. You may apply to the same university under each
  • Every figure cites the page of the guideline it came from

Managing days abroad

A verdict is not enough. You need to know what to do from here.

Document tracking

Some documents must be obtained now; others are void if issued too early. Getting the order wrong means starting over.

Submission packs

File names, order, and merging rules differ at every university.

  • Names each file to the university’s own convention

Billing and cancellation

Monthly is $29 charged every month; yearly is $295 charged every year, both in US dollars and renewed automatically. You can cancel from your profile at any time, and keep access until the period you have paid for ends. Your school history, travel records and documents remain available to download after cancelling.

You may switch from monthly to yearly. The remaining balance is applied to the next charge.

What the calculations rest on

Not memory, not a summary: the admissions guidelines each university publishes. Every figure cites the page it came from, so you never have to take the result on trust. Only universities whose original guideline we hold are used for detailed calculation. The rest are left blank rather than guessed at.

We currently work from the 2027 guidelines, which is enough to prepare on for a 2028 application. The 12 standard documents were identical across 2026 and 2027, and the core eligibility requirements, enrolment, residency and terms, are fixed by national decree and cannot be changed by an individual university. As the 2028 guidelines are released, we update each university in turn.
